Sunset on Saturday
The word prompt from the Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #67: Layered
I was sitting inside when I glance at the curtains and saw a red line. A small part of the sunset lit the curtain so vibrantly I had to grab my camera and head out to capture what I could before the sun set fully.
It was a case of the fires that are still burning in the western part of the north coast that have given some quite spectacular sunsets. This is also mixed with dust that the strong winds have whipped up taking the topsoil from many farms over the mountains in the western part of New South Wales.
The distant sun with the layered landscape.
The Sun turned into a fiery red ball as it disappeared on the horizon.
To the east, the clouds were building into huge layered cloud formations which looked storm like but failed to deliver any rain once again.
