I like the first two top photos the most. They give me a glimpse of what life was like some decades before this period. They depict simplicity, peace, and serenity.

Such stories are imagined when we look at abandoned places. Any of these could be re-vitalised into a new life. I do like the stove in the wall – and the monochrome adds to the abandoned theme. Thanks for joining in again. Always great to see what you come up with.

Yes. I agree. There is a definite atmostphere with monochrome. I often use monochrome for portraits. In portraiture, it has an altogether different effect.
