that hill
they said.
Many years ago
it was done
There
atop the hill.
Built with
splendor
to be
important.
Viewed from
afar
the splendor
dwarfed by
rocks
and clouds
stands
engrossed
in it’s
self importance.
There
they said
We want
it there
so all can see
our might
and power.
The clouds
laughed.
The rocks
sighed.
It is there.
Nature
encroaches
but none shall
not know
it is
there
atop that hill.
