The Ragtag Sunday word prompt: Puzzle
What did we see
Shall we take a closer look
So many things within
It’s a puzzle
Hand me the magnifier
Now we shall see
What did we see
The word prompt from Frank at Dutch goes the Photo: Hill
There
they said.
We want it
there.
Atop
that hill
they said.
Many years ago
it was done
There
atop the hill.
Built with
splendor
to be
important.
Viewed from
afar
the splendor
dwarfed by
rocks
and clouds
stands
engrossed
in it’s
self importance.
There
they said
We want
it there
so all can see
our might
and power.
The clouds
laughed.
The rocks
sighed.
It is there.
Nature
encroaches
but none shall
not know
it is
there
atop that hill.
Terri has asked what a taste of summer means to you. See what others have posted in A Taste of Summer
I know that Terri was hoping for some fab food shots or those wonderful cooling Summer drinks or the sea with people frolicking or the Summer that is what we enjoy when we know that Winter is on the way out.
My post is what Summer in my part of Australia means.
By now you must have realised that Summer in my part of Australia is quite hot. Last Summer we had a number of days that were over 40C and the rest were in the high 30’sC.
Despite the heat we can manage to enjoy our countryside. I am lucky to live within a short drive to the beach to spend my day lazing in the cooling waters.
One of my all time favourite bands. Sly and the Family Stone were one of the early bands to embrace integration of musicians. Have a dance with me

The theme for July is ‘blue‘, and as always it is totally up to you how you interpret the square theme but whatever you decide to do, please remember there is a rule if you want to part of the Square Gang and be sure your photos are square so you can make it into the gallery.
