Blue #12 – Behind Blue Eyes

This months square challenge from Becky: Blue

The theme for July is ‘blue‘, and as always it is totally up to you how you interpret the square theme but here are Beckys suggestions for how we might stay connected on our square adventures this month.

  1. be a ‘Bolt from the Blue’ – something unexpected or surprising
  2. explore ‘Into the wide blue yonder‘ – sky, sea or maybe a location that is appealingly unknown and mysterious
  3. simply be ‘Blue – whether that’s azure, cobalt, sapphire, cerulean, navy, ultramarine, indigo, or turquoise
  4. and there is an extra challenge for those of you up for it – can you manage to combine two of these, or maybe even all three?

Whatever you decide to do, please remember there is a rule if you want to part of the Square Gang and be sure your squares make into the gallery.

    1. So many dolls from years gone by are quite weird and scary. I found a good selection in a Museum. May have to post more. They nearly all had blue eyes!!!

  1. I always find painted dolls so scary too! Mindst you I dislike those ‘Frozen’ dolls as well. I have an old doll but she has brown eyes. I think. She’s hidden in a trunk these days.

  2. Such a great song! I’m listening right now.
Cool doll! Well, I like creepy dolls. I even have a Pinterest board full of them.
My grand-daughter who is 5, loves them too. In fact we went to an antique store a couple of days ago because she wanted a Hideous Haunted Doll. She found one too. She said she’d feel the ‘vibe’ when the right doll found her. 🙂
