Seeing that Debbie’s image of power was in Scotland, I though perhaps mine should also be set in Scotland.
A chimney that was used in the colliery power a coal mine at Lady Victoria Colliery, Newtongrange, Dalkeith where the National Mining Museum is located.
A Wind Turbine from the train to Edinburgh, a clean alternative to coal to power our world.

I like the way you match dates Scottish element of power, There are some great arrays of wind turbines in Scotland – great to see the clean energy stretched across the skyline.
