The Lens-Artists Photo Challenge #42: Creativity
Debbie from Travel with intent One Word Sunday: Memory
In January, I travelled to Toowoomba to see my daughter. One thing we enjoy is walking around the city discovering places and things. One day I said I wanted to walk the streets and lane ways to discover the street art. A memory of being in Toowoomba and seeing some of the local creativity on show.
I hope you enjoy a bit of a walk around looking at Street Art.
There are some great pieces here, Brian. Love the moose and the guy with the wings. And those faces made me smile. Happy Monday 🙂 🙂

A very diverse and creative gallery, Brian! I immediately got some favorites: The birds at No Parking and the last one with the little boy. Fun and elaborately painted.

They are some of my favourites too Ann-Christine 🙂

I am sure some if not all are historical figures but I have no idea who’s who or maybe they are people from Toowoomba

Those murals are incredibly good, Brian.

I may travel north again this year, Brian. Not sure which route to take though. There is a good chance I may go through Toowoomba.

Many cities in many countries have beautiful street art. I love the Japanese lady, the birds, and the “Late night.”
I’m glad you had a great time with your daughter, Brian.

Yes, I did. Is your daughter living far from you?
LikeLiked by 1 person
Not that far. It’s only around a 5 hour drive from here

That’s good. My daughter lives 2 hours and 15 minutes flight from me, 1,000 miles.

Another out of the spam folder. That’s a long way but close if you fly

Yes, I fly there every two months now. The first 10 months of my granddaughter, I went every month.

I guess it doesn’t cost much to fly. Flying from here to anywhere is costly

I can’t remember how much the airfare was when we went to Australia.

Oh, we may go back, next year or year after next. I may want to see Walla Walla where my husband was born. 🙂

Something wrong with my computer. I responded to your comment earlier, but I can’t see it now. You’re closer to your daughter than I am to mine. 🙂

Yes something went wrong as I found this in the spam folder. I am thankfully closer to all three 🙂

Okay, now I need to check the spam folder. 🙂

I try to do it daily now as I have found various regular commenters in spam

My blog seems to do okay with that. Not too many regular went to spam.

I had a lot from one company – several hundred a day to tag just one post. I emailed WordPress and they told me to close the comment on that post. At least it was easy enough to stop them.

Wonderful! I love street art, and you have given us a great collection here, Brian. Shame Toowoomba is such a distance from me, or I’d be there in a shot

Just jump on a plane. I’ll be there to show you around 😀😀
