Cat in the Window

The photo challenge from Judy at Life Lessons: Cat in the Window

While travelling in France, we stayed in Dijon with a lovely couple in an AirBnB. They suggested we go to a nearby town, Beaune.  We were walking in Beaune when some people started to look across the road and up to a first story window. A couple of people spoke to us in French and then signalled us to look up. A magical moment shared with the people in the street.

Not really a Cat and not really in a window but three cats sitting outside of a window

Banksia Spinulosa

The word prompt for Sheryls Daily Word Prompt April 10: Flower

I was chatting on a post about gardens and someone asked what was  a certain flower. As it was an Australian flower, of course I knew it was a Banksia spinulosa. It’s common name is Hairpin Banksia. Last week I actually photographed a flower. Funny how worlds come together isn’t it.

Well, here is the flower of a Banksia spinulosa
