It’s a pity you can’t have a portable bird bath that birds would use no matter where you are in the world

Now that sounds like a good plan! I put out a container that I thought they might like to use here, but no joy.

I had to get another bird bath and the birds don’t use it as much as the old one

Totally different. The old one was terracotta this is a large platter

Perhaps they have a preference for terracota – does it keep the water cooler maybe?
