  1. Lovely photos, Brian. Did you get close to that kookaburra or is that the power of the telephoto lens?
    Much excitement in our part of the continent, as the curlews which we were re-introduced into a cat and fox -free reserve have been seen flying the coop at night to feast on insects around the street lights before returning to their sanctuary. People near the reserve are meant to have their cats contained at all times.
