The rain on the window from the 75th floor overlooking Sydney Harbour

What could be more rainbow than a bird bath of Rainbow Lorikeets?
Looking at you
Or a tree with Rainbow Bee Eaters
Or just a double rainbow
This is a bit more dramatic from my bushboy YouTube channel
More great rain inspired photos at Cees
I confess I’m not a great fan of the rainbow lorikeet, but that photo of one in the bottlebrush is really beautiful. They are a bit too bossy for my liking. 🙂 Also, because some escaped from an outdoor aviary here, and now they are taking over.

I am lucky. They come and go from here depending on what’s min flower. When the Spotted Gums had their best flowering in years, my place was a cacophony – just my place

How far and in which direction are you from here?

I almost used rainbow colored anything for rainbows. So glad you used some birds….. 😀 😀

I had to include a bird or two 🙂 After seeing some others posts I wish I had some water drop photo in there as well

You can make sense of anything! Haha. I’m in Canberra. A region thought to be too cold for lorikeets. No-one told the lorikeets that. 🙂

Therefor no parallels at all. I’ll take the Rainbow Lorikeets back if you take the Little Corellas lol

Brian your posts make my day. It is gray and freezing and we await another 12 inch snowstorm- your birds are a warm diversion … so beautiful

Oh dear Lisa. You certainly are getting your years supply of snow. I am lucky, it is raining so the garden is happy, I don’t have to start the pump to water, the water tanks are full and the days are warm. Glad my birds can bring warmth into your life 🙂

That’s a fantastic close-up of the lorikeet.
I have to say they would be very welcome in my garden

Fabulous coloured birds but can be very very noisy when there is two or more 🙂

I really liked the video! The sound of the thunder and rain, and seeing the lightning was wonderful. We haven’t had a good thunderstorm or even any rain here for months, and we sure need it. 🙂

Thanks for taking the time to have a look 😀I love a good storm as long as it doesn’t damage too much
