Mankind has to supple alternatives if they remove the natural world

They do the same for storks in Portugal – gives me a little bit of hope in my fellow humans and the future of the natural world.

The pelican is great but I just love that parot (parakeet?). It looks as if he was growing out of the branch, not perching but sitting there like a flower or bud.

The yellow-tailed black cockatoos love sitting in the tree tops. Thanks for your comment ๐

oh I like your take on elevation – but the pelican on the light is something I have never seen – and it brings a smile.
he looks so content up there.
and when i see pelicans fly – I think I could gaze all day and never tire

Thank you Yvette. In some places around here the Pelicans love siting on the light posts. Yes when they are soaring in the sky they are spectacular ๐
