It’s that time of the week again where I try to find something with a bit of a wow factor. Last Saturday was my daughters wedding and I too my little camera so I wouldn’t have to carry a bigger camera. It takes good photos and sometimes I am amazed at results.
The wedding was in a field with a music and light show to dance the night away.
A Photo a Week Challenge from Nancy Merrill Photography: Jewel Colours
All the jewel colours rolled into one with a Rainbow Lorikeet and a Bottlebrush
“I show my Emerald better”
“What about me?” said the King Parrot with the rubies and emeralds too
The Eastern Rosella splashes the jewel colours about.
Now they are getting a bit showy I think.
The Daily Post word prompt: Mushroom
I love finding and photographing mushrooms, toadstools and all fungi that I come across. Here is a selection of some of my finds
A lovely group of mushrooms. I wonder if there is a name for a group of Mushrooms
The closer you get the yummier they seem
Such tiny mushroom or perhaps these are toadstools?
It is always a frill to find mushrooms to photograph in the forest
They can be in clusters of mushrooms. There I just made that up.
Sometimes so packed together there’s not mushroom…..
Sometimes size matters. I always carry a brick when I go wandering with my camera, just in case
Sometimes the light is just at the right place in the otherwise darkness of the forest floor.
The Daily Post word prompt: Atmospheric
As I drive home, winding through the countryside, I come to a hill that sends me down into the valley where I then climb again to my place. This special spot almost halfway down the hill, the trees open up to reveal my valley and the Great Dividing Range in the distance. Some days are so atmospheric, I am compelled to stop, bathe in the afternoons glow and wonder at the world spread before me.
No words just a few pictures.
