Thanks to Prior from Priorhouse Blog for nominating me to try out this challenge.
This is for all the bloggers who are all around the world and come into my world as I go into theirs.
“. . and if our lives
should never quite entwine –
our friendship
lights my understanding
of your world,
and sheds a gentle lustre
upon mine. . .”
Nanushka came into my life from my Mother. She saw Nanushka, whose real name is Nan Whitcomb, on TV and knowing my love of poetry gave me a book, The Thoughts of Nanushka one Christmas. I now have 4 volumes of Nan’s poetry which inspire me in my life and remind me of my parents. Now I enjoy sharing her poetry with others. The way I write poems is based on the way she writes poetry I guess.
That’s beautiful.

Touching, the poem, what your mom wrote in the book and what you wrote. The picture is perfect. A branch representing your family tree?

I enjoyed the quote challenge very much. Nanushkas poems have such a resonance in my life plus many happy memories of my parents. I loved the photo from the moment I saw the result on the camera screen 🙂
