The old abandoned cottage just down the road from me was the home a good friend. He built the cottage from materials on his property. When he moved out the poor old place just fell to rack and ruin. Here is his fire place he used to cook on. I took these photos before the new owners moved in and I am not sure whether it is still standing.
The portrait is good for showing the full picture especially if the image you want is tall.
The landscape is good for seeing a bit of the detail in the subject

Ha ha ha. I hope not as it wouldn’t be very tasty. I am glad I took a lot of different photos which made the finding of photos easy
